Expeditionary Learning
Expeditionary learning is the process of learning through exploration and observation. An expedition can be as simple as a walk to the park or as complex as a class trip overseas. Forethought and planning, experimentation, and conscious reflection on what was experienced and observed are vital components of expeditionary education. Plans for expeditionary opportunities for the 2023-2024 include:
Field Trip Fridays: every Friday is an exploration day! Fridays will be spent experiencing the Florida environment in all of it's diversity.
Rotating blocks of expeditionary activities including: gardening, woodworking, sailing, kayaking, and more.
